What is Micellar Casein?
Micellar casein is a super slow protein made from milk. Through a low temperature ultrafiltration process, the final ingredient retains its nutritional value and functionality when compared to acid casein or caseinates.
Benefits of Micellar Casein?
Micellar casein is slowly absorbed in the stomach, which allows the muscles to smoothly and gradually receive amino acids over time. These properties make micellar casein an ideal protein supplement to use between meals and before bed. During sleep, the body receives few nutrients, since it is impractical to eat. However, because micellar casein provides a constant supply of protein, it allows the body to prevent muscle tissue breakdown during sleep.
Micellar casein has an excellent amino acid profile, with a fairly high content of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). It is also extremely low in fat, but it is also a good source of calcium.
Who is it suitable for?
Micellar casein is ideal for those pursuing long-term physical fitness where getting the right dietary balance is essential.
Recommended use
Add 200-300ml of water or milk to our shaker (the less liquid, the thicker your shake will be). Then add 1.5 large mr of product (30g), mix and drink. For optimal results, it is recommended to take at bedtime, but can also be taken between meals, 2-3 times daily, or as needed. The spoon is not included.
