Solgar Inositol 500 mg is a source of inositol (vitamin B6). Inositol is a minor member of the vitamin B complex that comes to our body from foods of animal and plant origin. This product uses myo-inositol, the richest form of this nutrient, in its inositol form. Inositol is found in all cell membranes, and especially in the cells of the brain and the entire central nervous system, where it plays an important role in the transmission of neurotransmitter signals.

Inositol is also very important for the proper action of insulin, carbohydrate metabolism, and for the maintenance of calcium balance at the cellular level. Inositol or Vitamin B8 is necessary for the full development and functioning of the entire body.
