BCAA 1000 are branched chain amino acids, which are a complex of three essential amino acids for humans: leucine, isoleucine and valine in a 2: 1: 1 ratio.
Leucine has been shown to be the most important amino acid for muscle recovery as it activates protein synthesis as well as insulin, but it must always be accompanied to a lesser extent by the other two branched chain amino acids, isoleucine and valine.
BCAA amino acids stimulate the formation of new cells (protein synthesis), speed up metabolism and prevent catabolic processes. Quamtrax developed the BCAA in pill form to make it easier to transport and take at the right time.
