The name Arginine comes from the Latin argentum (silver), since this amino acid was first obtained as a silver salt. Arginine is found in almost all proteins. Although it can be produced by the body on its own, L-arginine supplementation is especially recommended for those people whose individual need for L-arginine is not always satisfied due to a monotonous diet, various diseases, and especially with serious sports exertion.
Arginine is involved in many processes in the human body. It plays a critical role in muscle function and tissue growth, and supports critical components of the immune system. Nor should its effect on male fertility be underestimated. In the process of metabolism in the liver, arginine takes part in the urea cycle and in the neutralization of ammonia. In the body, arginine is rapidly converted to the amino acid ornithine and vice versa. Therefore, under certain circumstances, it can be replaced with ornithine. In general, the strengthening effect of arginine on the immune system is undeniable. This has been shown by numerous studies in the field of sports medicine.
From arginine, nitrogen monoxide (NO) is produced, which is necessary for vasodilation and, therefore, regulation of blood flow. Through nitrogen monoxide, arginine supports the regulation of blood sugar and fat levels. Studies have shown that L-arginine can improve pumping function of the heart and plays an important role in hormonal processes: arginine is required for the production of growth hormone and insulin.
What are the benefits of L-arginine for athletes?
Numerous studies show that nitrogen monoxide (NO) is naturally and safely produced in the body by taking the amino acid L-Arginine. Based on this research work, an effective nitrogen monoxide activator called Arginin Simplex was created. Arginin Simplex contains the same pharmaceutical grade 100% L-Arginine that was used in scientific research.
Nitric monoxide has been an important discovery in sports nutrition. Nitric monoxide supports blood flow in the body and can lead to dramatic increases in blood flow during exercise. Thanks to this, the muscles are constantly supplied with nutrients and can grow 24 hours a day. At the same time, the resting time of the muscles is reduced, which makes it possible to carry out the next training session or competition with maximum strength.
With all this, nitrogen monoxide is capable of more; it is for this reason that three scientists (Dr. Ferid Murad, Dr. Robert F. Furchgott, and Dr. Lewis Ignaro) received the 1998 Nobolev Prize for their discovery.
Once again about the benefits:
- Improved muscle growth!
- Increased supply of muscle tissue with nutrients!
- Increase in energy, strength and physical performance!
- Accelerated regeneration!
- Protection of the heart and circulatory system!
- Maximum pumping!
Advice:
Due to the increased supply of nutrients to the muscles caused by taking Arginin Simplex, we recommend taking additional proteins and carbohydrates in combination with Arginin Simplex. Muscle-intensive diet foods such as Propak®, Musclin V.2.0 or Titan V.2.0 will support the efficient intake of protein, carbohydrates and other important nutrients and provide progressive muscle gain.
Application recommendation:
Take one serving daily, as needed, before meals.
