insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1)

IGF-1 is produced in the body and has a number of unique anabolic characteristics and is one of the most potent natural activators (AKT) of the signaling pathway, stimulants of cell growth and multiplication. IGF-1 was first turned to when scientists in the study of growth hormone found that IGF-1 was a responsible factor for anabolic production associated with the growth of natural hormones in the body. In fact, while growth hormone (GH) has a direct effect of burning fat as it metabolizes stored fat, its muscle building effects are actually related to its effect on increasing IGF

IGF-1 also increases muscle growth by increasing amino acids and protein synthesis.

IGF-1 is an important hormone peptide that is involved in the regulation of the growth and development of muscle tissue. Its main action is binding to specific IGF-1 receptors that are present in many types of cells, in many tissues.
