What is Guarana?
Guarana is a jungle liana with separate oval leaves and the botanical name "Paullina cupana". Guarana flowers are yellow, collected in bunches. Each fruit contains 3 seeds that resemble chestnuts. After drying, fresh seeds are easily separated from the fruit shell. Before use, the seeds are washed and fried for 6 hours. This plant also contains caffeine (approximately 3.5%). This is almost three times more than regular coffee. Therefore, Guarana is considered to be the strongest naturally occurring caffeine.

Unlike caffeine from coffee, tea, etc., gurana does not harm the heart, stomach or circulatory system. What is Taurine?
For the first time this substance was isolated from the bile of a bull in 1824, therefore it received the name taurine, from the Greek taurus (= bull). Taurine is an aminoethanesulfonic acid involved in many metabolic processes in the body.

Taurine is necessary for humans for the synthesis of taurocholic and taurochenodeoxycholic bile acids (two important for fat metabolism). Thus, it favors the reduction of elevated blood fat levels in diets high in fat and cholesterol. Taurine optimizes the self-regulation of calcium in the heart and eyes.
