MCT Oil is a unique type of fat that has a wide range of beneficial effects. Primarily, the body uses MCTs as fuel during hard training. This helps maximize performance while keeping your glycogen stores intact! In addition, MCTs increase growth hormone levels, which leads to increased muscle mass and decreased body fat.

MCT Oil contains palm kernel oil, which is as potent source of MCT as coconut oil. However, don't confuse it with regular palm oil. Made from pulp, palm oil can be harmful and high in polyunsaturated fats, which are not good for your blood cholesterol levels. MCT oil is only made from the edible seeds of the palm fruit and not from the fruit itself.

Medium chain triglycerides are composed primarily of fatty acids with 8 and 10 carbon atoms. There are isolated reports that medium-chain triglycerides are metabolized faster than long-chain triglycerides, with little or no deposition of medium-chain fatty acids in tissues.

How to take: Take 1/2 spoon 2 times a day with meals for the first 2 days, gradually increasing the number of times on day 3, until the optimal dosage is reached: 1-3 tablespoons 2 times a day.
